Link Age Southwark is a vibrant, local charity providing friendly volunteer support to over 500 isolated, older people in Southwark. Link Age Southwark’s fantastic volunteers bring joy to people’s lives, reducing loneliness and isolation and helping older people to maintain active lives within the community. The charity has been working in the borough for more than 23 years, recruiting volunteers to help older people thrive. Link Age Southwark offers various free services to over-60s in Southwark, including more than 20 social groups across the borough, weekly befriending visits from volunteers, odd job support, volunteer driving and support for people living with dementia.
