Newcomen Collett Foundation has served the young people of Southwark for over 300 years. The two educational foundations founded by Elizabeth Newcomen in 1685 and John Collett in 1711 were amalgamated in 1988.
The present foundation provides support for a wide variety of educational needs of young people in the London Borough of Southwark. These include, relieving children with learning difficulties attending the Newcomen Centre at Guy's Hospital, making payments to any Church of England Voluntary Aided School in the London Borough of Southwark towards the rent, alterations and repairs to the premises of the school, and promoting education of persons under the age of 25 years resident in the London Borough of Southwark.
They welcome applications from both organisations and individuals who meet their funding criteria.
