Julia Dennis is a professional artist who has taught Fine Art and Design in the UK, Italy and Papua New Guinea in Further and Higher Education art institutions for more than 30 years. Throughout her career she has prepared student portfolios for all specialist fields in art, design and architecture with consistent great success. She offers BESPOKE art and design portfolio preparation courses and personal support in fine art, painting, sculpture, architecture, 3D design, fashion and textile design, fashion photography, graphic design, animation and illustration.
In 2008, Julia set up London Art Portfolio in Wapping, London. Within a few years LAP transferred to a floor of studios in a historic listed building next to Tower Bridge, in the heart of London. Due to an ever-increasing interest in the preparation of art, design and architecture portfolios from students in the UK, Europe and across the globe, London Art Portfolio has recently become a limited company. Many of our students return to study at London Art Portfolio throughout their studies and professional careers.
During this time the LAP specialist team has grown. We now have many top designers in all specialist fields and professional practicing fine artists who exhibit internationally who regularly tutor at the London Art Portfolio Studio’s.
London Art Portfolio delivers 1, 4, 6, 12 and 24 week course programmes for portfolio preparation and development. You can block build your courses, call us to discuss more. Recent success in applications for internships related to the 24 week course programme, include prominent design and artist studios such as Peter Pilotto and Iris van Herpen fashion houses.
We also have a unique group size of 12 students maximum per group/studio. This enables all students to reach their full potential and be successful. It also helps to give that extra support you may be searching for if you are also an International student and English may not be your first language. All of our staff on our courses are experienced tutors and can give you the valuable support you are looking for.

Monday – Thursday 10am – 4pm
Tuition: 10am – 1pm
Lunch: 1pm – 2pm
Free studio access and desk space: 2pm – 4pm for Independent Study
Alongside portfolio courses, London Art Portfolio also offers you the perfect opportunity to build your art and design portfolio in the evenings and during half-terms. Extend your drawing and making skills, explore new concepts and innovative research delivered by experienced art portfolio preparation tutors, who are practicing artists and designers in a range of specialist fields. All levels are welcome, including beginners, pre-foundation, graduates and professionals.
