MediCinema is a charity dedicated to bringing the power of cinema and film to patients and their families across the UK. they do this by building and running state-of-the-art cinemas in hospitals and health facilities, so that patients can enjoy the escapism and magic that a trip to the cinema brings to each and every one of us - and feel better with film. Their 7 cinemas are accessible to beds and wheelchairs and their nurses and volunteers provide care for patients who need it, enabling them to support over 17,000 people this year. 

Opened in December 2013, the ICAP MediCinema at Guy's Hospital has brought the latest releases to patients every week, including specialist screenings for outpatients. The fully digital, 3D cinema tiered seating and specialist cinema lighting creates an authentic cinema experience for patients, their families and carers and colourful new social space within the hospital. With 37 seats and space for 5 hospital beds and 7 wheelchairs, it is fully accessible for both the in and out patient community within the hospital and currently supports over 1000 patients each year.

This is the perfect space for Private Screening, Corporate Entertaining, Training or Conference Facilities and is available throughout the week during the day or evening.  The team ask for a suggested donation to MediCinema to use the space. 100% of donations will go towards supporting their patients to feel better with film.
