Team London Bridge is an independent, not-for-profit Company, and is led by a Board of non-executive, unpaid Directors. As per the original 2005 Business Plan, the Board is made up of representatives from:
- Three BID-levy paying SME businesses
- Three BID-levy paying large businesses (with hereditament of £400,000 rateable value and above)
- One business within BID area who are not eligible for the levy
- One local residential group
- One landowner

Professor Simon Howell (Chair)
Director of Academic Estates Strategy for Health Campuses and Guy’s Campus Dean
King's College London
Simon Howell joined the TLB Board and became Chair in March 2017. He holds PhD and DSc degrees in physiology from the University of London and is currently Director of Academic Estates Strategy for Health Campuses and Guy’s Campus Dean at King’s College London. His research interests are in diabetes and in particular in the mechanism and regulation of insulin secretion. He was awarded the RD Laurence lectureship of the British Diabetic Association and the Minkowski Prize of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes in recognition of his research.
He has been a member of Council of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes and of the Association of Medical Research Charities and was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the charity Diabetes UK 2006-2009.

Paul is General Manager at the Shangri-La Hotel, at the Shard. Prior to joining Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts in 2016 Paul was Managing Director of the Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair, where he was responsible for the hotel’s launch. Previous senior roles include General Manager with InterContinental Hotels Group and with Taj Hotels, Palaces & Resorts. Paul started his career in hospitality some 30 years ago as a trainee manager at the Savoy hotel on the Stand, he also worked at Claridges, the Connaught and the Berkeley hotels. In addition, Paul has served for 6 years as a trustee and director of the Institute of Hospitality and 3 years as a trustee and director of the Victory Services Club in Marble Arch.
James Dinwiddie BA (Hons) BArch RIBA PartnerDinwiddie MacLaren ArchitectsJames Dinwiddie is a registered architect with more than twenty years experience in private practice. He has been based in the area since the mid 1980's when he co-founded Dinwiddie MacLaren and established his practice in a converted Victorian mission hall just south of London Bridge station.
James was Team London Bridge Chair 2006-17 and was on the original steering group to scope forming a BID in London Bridge. Having successfully designed and managed a variety of projects including offices, schools, private houses and commercial interiors, James is understandably enthusiastic about the many world-class developments planned and underway locally.
Tom Dobson

Network Rail
Tom is Head of Asset Management within the Property
division at Network Rail. Working across the managed station estate (which
includes 17 of Britain's biggest and busiest stations used by over 800 million
people a year) he is responsible for the Retail, Office and Hotel Leasing and
Development Strategy. Tom has over 15 years of experience working in the office
and retail sector. He joined Network Rail in 2008 and is a member of the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Nigel opened the Bridge Lounge and Dining Room on Tooley Street in 2005. He has a wealth of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry and is Chair of the Building Bridges Task Group.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity
Gail is a Chartered Surveyor and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with over 30 years’ experience in the private, public, healthcare and charity sectors. She has been Head of Property at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity since 2010, the Charity being a major landholder at London Bridge. Gail is working with stakeholders King’s College London and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to agree and implement masterplans for the redevelopment of the Guy’s/Kings campus’ at London Bridge and also the St Thomas’ campus at Westminster Bridge and is therefore focused on enhancing and promoting the South Bank.

As Southwark Council’s Cabinet Member for Finance, Performance & Brexit, Cllr Mills takes political responsibility for the development and implementation of the council’s budget and for performance management across the council. Cllr Mills leads the integration of the council’s finances and the Fairer Future Plan enabling the council to deliver on the cabinet’s priorities whilst coping with financial constraints.

Andrew Weir is a Partner at Anthony Gold and has worked in SE1 for more than 15 years. Having trained with a commercial property practice on the south coast he continued to develop his property career as a partner in a specialist property practice on Bermondsey Street before joining Anthony Gold in 2015. Andrew has a particular interest in commercial leases and assisting business owners with their property requirements.
